Billion Beats

Billion Beats Productions is a production team consisting of Forrest "FG" Manuel and Brandi Miss B (Yoshiko) Williams. "FG" Manuel is a music producer/rap artist from the Westside of Atlanta, GA. Miss B is a music producer from the city of Decatur, GA. They both have a great amount of passion for music. FG has been dealing with music for 22 years. He started out playing the violin in elementary school and went to playing percussion throughout middle and high school. Miss B has always had an ear for good music. By receiving her inspiration from her oldest brother Terrance, she has learned quickly under the direction of FG on how to apply the sounds in her mind into a musical format. FG has been producing since 1999 and songwriting since 1992. He started out making beats on a Playstation game called MTV Music Generator. FG has made a lot of beats using the MTV Music Generator versions 1 and 2. He has also done a lot of work on the MPC 2000, Korg Triton, and ProTools 7. FG is currently using FL Studio 9 to make his beats. He has been using this program extensively and is learning very quickly on how to utilize the plug ins and components available for the FL Studio program. FG developed a unique formula to combining the genres of Classical, R&B, Reggae, Pop, Alternative, and Rock music into a hip hop format. He started out with a group called Masterminds and then later on the group was called Buddy Row. The group members consisted of Drefus the Fresh Chef, Joe Nasty, and himself (FG). He had numerous affiliations with the group F.A.M.O which was a movement of rap artists based in the Atlanta area. He's been involved in a lot of talent shows and open mics throughout the Atlanta area. FG has worked with many artists such as Killer Mike, Rock D the Legend, Beat Bullies and a number of other artists in the music world. He enjoys listening to many different kinds of music. FG and Miss B listen to Hip-Hop, R&B, Reggae, Classical, Rock, Jazz and many more. He initially incorporates many of those sounds into his beats. In 2010 he joined forces with producer Miss B (Yoshiko) to form the duo production team by the name of Billion Beats Productions. Together, they have devoted their time and minds to creating some of the hottest and diverse productions in the music world. They are currently producing for Omarr, Odd-1, T-Rock, Lil Tec, C-Mob, Neana Ross, Dame Jones and anyone who is interested in incorporating good music into their projects. They are firm believers in good work ethics. Their philosophy is if you have a passion for something then you shouldn’t give up on any of your dreams of becoming successful in that area.
